Hall of Fame

The Fame Award for Parents’ Choice congratulates the food marketing campaign that promotes healthy eating to children in a fun and appealing way. We love these campaigns and hope to one day see these outweigh junk food campaigns. Previous winners of this award include:

  • 2017: Parents’ Choice – Food – Aussie Apples’ Get Your Crunch On campaign.
  • 2017: Parents’ Choice – Physical Activity – Netball Australia and Aussie Apples’ partnership tied with ALDI’s MiniRoos campaign.
  • 2016: Parents’ Choice – Food – Woolworths’ Free Fruit For Kids campaign, featuring Jamie Oliver.
  • 2016: Parents’ Choice – Physical Activity – Australian Government’s Girls Make Your Move campaign.
  • 2015: Nutrition Australia Produce Marketing Association of Australia and New Zealand’s Pick Right. Feel Bright! campaign, featuring The Wiggles.
  • 2014: Woolworths – Jamie’s Garden Collectibles promotion.
  • 2013: Australian Cricket – TV commercial encouraging people of all ages and abilities to play backyard cricket with no sponsored advertising visible.
  • 2012: Aussie Bananas – for its well known ‘Nature’s Energy Snack’ campaign.
  • 2011: McCain’s School Veggie Patches‘ a program designed by McCain’s encouraging schools to create veggie patches.
  • 2010: Serve ’em up’ Veggie Promotion – Good for Kids, Good for Life
  • 2009: The Socceroos, for their association in 2009 with Sanitarium Weet Bix and Batlow Apples.
  • 2008: Woolworths ‘Fresh Food Kids’ campaign, including TV ads, instore promotions, interactive website and community sports club grants.
  • 2007: Woolworths ‘Fresh Food Kids’ campaign.
  • 2006: Sanitarium Weetbix, for their Breakfast of the Socceroos advertisement.
  • 2005: The Federal Government, for their ‘Go for 2 +5’ campaign.
