The Parents’ Voice ChangeMakers webinar series is here
Wanting to create healthier schools for your kids? This free two part series is designed for parents who are eager to create change in their communities.
The first instalment of the Parents’ Voice ChangeMakers program will focus the food environments in schools (though it can be applied to sporting and other clubs).
The series will be presented by Parents’ Voice Campaign Manager Alice Pryor, Public Health Consultant Rebecca Zosel and the Healthy Eating Advisory Service’s Amy Wakem.
September 17, 2019 – Advocacy 101 will provide parents with tools to enact change in school settings and beyond – this might be advocating for healthier canteens at your child’s school.
October 8, 2019 – What’s working, what’s not draws from the experiences of other parents to give you the tools to succeed.
You’ll also receive your free ChangeMakers Toolkit containing the latest in research along with helpful and practical tips to get you started!
As a parent, you do have a voice, and that voice is powerful.
