After nine months in gestation, several sleepless nights in preparation and a few more grey hairs (!), we can finally reveal our new arrival… Please give a warm welcome to Parents’ Voice!
The Parents’ Jury had been online since 2004 and a large number of you felt it was time for a change, so we took your advice and embarked on a major overhaul. Emerging with a new name, logo and website, Parents’ Voice is our new way forward. Our aim is to make it easier for parents to make positive changes for their children and more than ever, we want to hear from you.
Parents’ Voice is all about you joining forces with other parents to drive the movement towards healthier places and spaces for our kids. We will be your voice on the issues concerning your children that are most important to you.
We are improving how we communicate with you, and will be trialling some new ideas over the coming months.
Some of your old favourites will remain unchanged. We will hold the junk food marketing industry to account with the Fame and Shame Awards, to take place in December this year, and Parents’ Voice is working with Dr Rosemary Stanton on the next instalment of Food Detectives.
As an organisation, our strength comes from our members, so we hope that the changes we’ve made make it easier for you to be part of Parents’ Voice. Contact us with your ideas, suggestions and constructive criticism, we won’t take it personally!

Finally on a more personal note, I’d like to say extend a big thank you to the Parents’ Voice team. Starting with Dimity, who led the initial stages and planning, Amber, who picked the best time to volunteer her time, and Angela, who has, in equal measures, inspired and grounded this process.
We are Parents’ Voice – United for Healthy Children. Our time is now.
